What is Carbon Laser Peel?

A carbon laser peel involves applying a layer of liquid carbon to the face, which is then targeted with a specific wavelength of light from our Q-switched Nd-YAG laser system.

The laser energy interacts with the carbon particles, helping to exfoliate the skin, stimulate collagen production and reduce the appearance of imperfections.

This non-invasive procedure is known for its ability to rejuvenate the skin, improve texture and address issues like fine lines, enlarged pores and uneven skin tone.

Aftercare for Carbon Laser Peel

What aftercare should I follow post Carbon Laser Peel treatment?

After a carbon laser peel, it's important to follow post-treatment guidelines as advised by your practitioner to optimise results and minimize potential side effects.

Right after the treatment, you may notice some redness, and it's common to apply aloe vera gel to soothe the skin.

Minimise exposure to direct sunlight, and always use a broad-spectrum SPF. Sun protection is crucial to prevent pigmentation issues.

Avoid using products with strong active ingredients, such as retinoids or acids, for a few days post-treatment. Stick to gentle, hydrating products recommended by your laser practitioner.

Refrain from hot showers, baths or hot tubs for 24 hours as heat can stay trapped in the epidermal tissue.

Avoid touching or picking at your treated skin to prevent irritation and reduce the risk of infection.

Skip intense workouts and activities that induce heavy sweating for up to 24 hours post procedure.
